Brendan 'Irish' Mary Moriarty

I met Irish when he was leading the electronics shop for Raytheon. He provided leadership and guidance to the younger technicians and the same for the management team. His high standards and expectations provided crucial guidance that made the FAA program such a success. He was very much liked. 

Once in awhile, my wife and I would run into Irish and LoEll at Starbucks. You could tell that no matter where he might go he would always find someone he knew. It was such a delight since you knew he would have some comment that would bring forth a chuckle from everyone and brighten those gray Seattle days.

The service was very nice and we thought it was very appropriate that it was a bright sunny day. We know you will miss him.

I came to know Irish through church.  He used to enjoy watching my little redheaded baby sleeping on my shoulder in mass and we struck up a church friendship.  We would see each other out an about occasionally as well.  I adored him and seeing him in his spot at church always made me smile.  He was never without a hug for me.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  He was a good good man and I feel very honored to have known him through St. A's.
