Pat, you were so loving, kind, understanding, and such a faithful friend.  You were ever so eager to lend an ear to whatever was mentioned to you.  You had wisdom that only God could give.  You measured your words and were quick to listen and slow to speak; your ear was ever so patient to hear.  You took pleasure in making deposits of faith and courage into each and every person you spent time with. 
I long to open my door and see your smiling face again.  To ask you in and to offer you a beverage and to sit with you in the front room and to share our hearts ; one with the other.   I miss you immensely, my dear friend.
