Roeun Yim Obituary

"Ms. Yim (Chean) Roeun was born in 1916 in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia to Mr. Yim and Wife.

She is the 5th of 8 children. She was married to Mr. Phann Bun who has passed 22 years ago.

In their marriage, Ms. Yim (Chean) Roeun gave birth to five children:
Phim Phan, Sykhon Phan, Pa Phann, Sykhan Phan, and Sykhoeun Phan who she is survived by.

Ms. Yim (Chean) Roeun is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 20+ great grandchildren.

After fleeing her homeland of Cambodia due to war and genocide, she and her children and grandchildren found refuge at the

Khao-I-Dang Holding Center, Thailand until relocating to Missouri, US.

They later moved to Modesto, California where most of her time was spent until she eventually moved to Seattle, WA to live with and be cared for by her granddaughter's family."
