Dana Coman Obituary

Dana was the first of four children born to Ann and Jim Hughes on January 14, 1953. She lived her en-tire life in West Seattle, attending Jefferson Elementary School, James Madison Junior High and graduating from West Seattle High School in 1971.
Dana married Chris Coman on October 18, 1975. They made their home in West Seattle and had five sons, Shawn, Jeff, Jason, Scott and Ryan. Being a mother was what Dana loved the most. Her family always came first.
Chris and Dana bought a lakefront cabin, near Shelton WA. in 2006. Dana loved having company and en-tertaining. Their fourth of July par-ties were the highlight of the summer for all that attended.
Dana was lucky to have many close friendships during her life, you know who you are. She treasured her girlfriends and enjoyed the bonds between each one. Chris and Dana also had several couples that they enjoyed traveling with and just getting together with for dinner or a movie. She loved you all.
Dana's mom Ann and her husband Chris were the "rocks" in her life. They kept her in balance when she needed it most. The boys were her reason for living. She couldn't have loved you more. She loved all of you with all of her heart.
Dana loved many things: kittens, snow, Christmas, Hawaii and Andrea Bocelli were some favorites. Her wild side liked: top fuel drag-sters, the Blue Angels, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Pink.
Dana leaves behind her mother Ann Hughes, Brother Steve Hughes, Husband Chris Coman and sons Shawn, Jeff, Jason (April), Scott and Ryan. And Granddaughter's Mariana Coman & Autumn Coman.
