Patti Marlene Janes Roush

Patti was born January 16, 1955 in Bremerton, WA. Her Parents were Charles Janes and Dororthy (Hopkins) Janes. She had two sisters, Deanna Erstad and Brenda Roush. Patti grew up in Bremerton and graduated from West High in 1973. She always remained one of the Girls of 73 and enjoyed going on many of the annual trips to warmer climates. Patti had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She adored knowing about all of them and their lives and could usually explain the challenges of a family tree of many twists.

Patti graduated from Olympic College in 1975 and went to work in the orthopedic surgery field as a medical assistant, where she worked in Kitsap and Renton. She loved to tell stories of her time with her bosses in clinic and the fun that went on.

In 1985 at the wedding for her sister Brenda to Marc Roush she met Mike Roush and lit up his life. Patti and Mike were married in 1990 and had a wonderful marriage. They enjoyed their time together traveling to many places around the country. Patti was generous and loved to see and hold the babies of the various friends and family. She was active raising step-sons, Justin, Abraham and Brandon and their families.

Later, she threw birthday parties for nieces Brooke and Jodi, after their mother passed at a young age.

Patti passed away April 5, 2020 after long battling cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She will be buried at Miller Woodlawn Memorial Park next to her sister Brenda and parents, Charles and Dorothy. No services at this time due to Corona restrictions.
