Thanks to all who turned out for my Dad's funeral today! The would have truly thought it an honor to have so many of you attend a tribute for him.
He was truly an amazing man that took care of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with such loving care. Never a harsh word out of his mouth, except for his dislike of raw tomatoes, sushi and yes, Steve, soft cheese!!! HA
He will be missed by all and I take comfort in remembering his soft heart, his warm smile and true love for his beloved wife, Angelina, and family.
RIP, Dad, you deserve all the fine things in the afterlife and give Mom, Nana and all that passed before a big hug from us.
We miss you already!!!!

“One of the best” as my grandpa would have said! I loved listening to my Papa’s and Phil’s stories. As a young girl I would sit around and listen to the guys talk at coffee hour. Hugs to Ang & Auntie Anna as well as all the others dancing in heaven at your arrival Phil. “Passato, ma mai dimenticato”

What a great man and such a huge loss. The smells of Italian food coming from the Fuda kitchen at noon on a Tuesday were the first to welcome us to the neighborhood nearly 7 years ago - followed shortly afterwards by Phil and Angie themselves. I'll never forget his smile, his invitations to come sit, his insistence on sharing a glass of wine or a fig, and his intense dislike for cheese (the only Italian I ever met that wouldn't eat a cannoli). What I'll cherish most, though, is the open door and a place at the table that he and Angie always had for us as well as the late night conversations during which he shared tales of the homeland, his service in WWII, his courtship of Angie, and the trials and tribulations of being the patriarch of the Fuda famiglia. Thanks for everything, Phil! We'll be having a little limoncello in your honor. Say hello to your beautiful wife for us.
