Valerie Christine Brant

Valerie Christine Brant (27 February 1969 – 4 April 2022) was born in Sacramento California. An artist at heart, she earned accolades as a choreographer and a dancer with the Ames Senior High School Terpsichore dance group. After graduation she enlisted in the Army Reserves and completed a double major of mathematics and Russian at Iowa State University before joining active military service in The United States Army. The onset of latent autoimmune diabetes forced her into early retirement and an honorable discharge from the military. Valerie is survived by her father George, her sister Kathryn, her brother Eric, and her nephew Zachary.
