Allen Vincent Johnson
Allen Vincent Johnson, 49, of Seattle, died on Monday, May 23, 2016. He was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1967, in Bloomingdale, New Jersey. Allen was a noted Seattle poet and theatre artist, as well as a professional boiler mechanic and HVAC technician by trade. His acclaimed 2005 solo show, "Another You," which was developed at On the Boards in Seattle, later went on to a 2-week run at The Public Theater in New York, in addition to other U.S. and European engagements. In January 2014, Allen married Petra Zanki, a dancer and performer from Split, Croatia. He is survived by his mother Beatrice Soi, father Edward Johnson, and brother Scott Johnson.
A memorial is planned for June 28th at On the Boards, 100 West Roy Street, Seattle.
