Ann Elizabeth Erickson – A Legacy of Love and Kindness

Ann Elizabeth Erickson, 89, of Silverdale, Washington, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an infectious smile.

Born in Chicago and raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Ann was the daughter of the late Marion and RJ Doyle. She grew up alongside her beloved siblings, the late Edith, Patricia (Pat), Sally, and Jack. Ann graduated from Glenbard High School and attended Rosary College for her higher education. She later built a beautiful family and was previously married to the late Robert L. Erickson Sr. She was a devoted mother and survived by her four sons: Robert Jr. (Linda) of Silverdale, Wa, Joseph (Kelli) of Seattle, Thomas (Carolyn) of Austin, TX, and Matthew (Lisa) of Gig Harbor, as well as a proud grandmother of six and a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A longtime resident of Washington, Ann had a successful career as a real estate broker with John L. Scott, helping countless families find their homes. She was also a passionate advocate for the Washington State Ferries, serving as Chairwoman of the Bremerton Ferry Advisory Committee, where she worked tirelessly to improve ferry services for her community.

Ann had a deep love for art and painting, and she especially enjoyed visiting museums—her favorite being the Art Institute of Chicago. She was also a talented cook who loved sharing homemade meals with family and friends. Above all, Ann’s generous spirit and warm personality touched everyone she met, and she will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and community.

A celebration of Ann’s life will be held at a future date to be announced both in Ann's hometown of Glenn Ellyn, Illinois and her adopted home of Silverdale, WA.
