Ann Rose Fuda

Our Mother, Grandmother & Gigi, Ann Fuda, passed away in her sleep at the age of 90 on June 29th, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Joe, her daughter Debbi Fuda, daughter-in-law Barbara Fuda, grandchildren Megan Fuda & Tyler Backlin and her parents Dominick and Caterina Asprea. Mom's greatest joy in life was her family. She lived a long and happy life, from working at Alki Cleaners with our father, to watching her grandchildren and most recently learning how to FaceTime with her great grandchildren during COVID.
She is survived by her children Robert Fuda, Gina Fuda (Tim), and Michelle Backlin (Cameron), her grandchildren Melissa Baker (Tim), Christopher Vivolo (Camren), Whitney Ricci (Luke), Brandon Backlin (Devin) & Madison Backlin; the lights of her life, her great grandchildren Connor, Peyton & Asher Baker, Ava Ricci, & Maddox & Cannon Vivolo; her sisters Eleanor Macri, Frances Fitzgerald and her brother Frank Asprea (Robin) and numerous nieces & nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Vincent Picozzi, Dr. Shayan Irani, and Dr. Lauren Crowley and the many nurses and staff from Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle for the loving care she received the last 12 years with her struggle against cancer. Thank you also to Bird Song Adult Family Home for all of their care for Mom for the past 5 years.

There will be a service at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way on July 26th, 2021 at 12pm. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Virginia Mason Medical Center in our mom's name.
