Anne Gertrude Marti

Anne Gertrude Marti, age 82, a lifelong resident of Seattle and Warm Beach, died on September 5, 2024. A fourth generation Washingtonian, Anne was born in Seattle on August 29, 1942 and raised in the Hillman City neighborhood. She was the cherished daughter of Alfred P. Marti, Sr. and Anne (Harn) Marti, and sister to Alfred P. Marti, Jr. (Rusty) and Rev. Thomas J. Marti, MM.

Anne's formative years were spent at St. Edward's Catholic School, followed by further education at Holy Names Academy, and was a Boeing employee for over 40 years. Outside the office, she was known for her love of travel and her eclectic collection of art and souvenirs from her adventures all over the world.

Anne was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Anne, her parents Alfred and Anne, and her oldest brother, Rusty. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Thomas J. Marti, MM.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
