Barbra Mary Thompson

June 1, 1953 — July 17, 2017

Barbra Mary Thompson (aged 64 years) passed away on Monday, July 17th.
Cause of death was misadventure. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and cousin and left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. She will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and flawless delivery of question-and-answer jokes and one-liners. She loved to collect miniatures, as well as Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop memorabilia and surrounded herself with glamorous accoutrement whenever possible. Everyone who knew her, even for the shortest amount of time would remark on her generosity and warmth, and her ability to create bonds with people that endured throughout her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. Thompson and Virginia Holmquist, Step-father William Holmquist, as well as her brothers Marcus Thompson, Bill Eck and Jerry Eck, who no doubt welcomed her to the other side with open and loving arms. She is survived by her brothers John Thompson, Bill Holmquist and Randy Eck, sisters Nancy Bailey and Betty Jane Blum, Sisters-in-law Rhonda Thompson, Sandy Thompson and Rosanna Holmquist, Step-mother JoAnne Thompson, nephews Adam Thompson and Bill Holmquist, nieces Rachel Holmquist, Amber Rousseau, Shelby Thompson, Seri Thompson and Chelsea Thompson, and life-long friend Michael Schindele,
as well as many dear cousins and countless friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Donate Life America.
