Betty Arlene Grubb (Arnold), age 90, of Seattle, Washington, peacefully passed away on September 7, 2026.
Born on November 21, 1935, in Lucas, Kansas, Betty spent her 90 years spreading warmth and light to everyone she met. She was uniquely known for her joyful, kind, and spirited personality, bringing an infectious energy and love to her family and friends.
On September 15, 1956, Betty married the love of her life, Alfred "Al" Chester Grubb. Together, they shared a beautiful journey of deep devotion until his passing on September 25, 2001.
Betty’s greatest legacy is her family. She was the devoted mother of George (Denise) Grubb, Jay Grubb (Alexia Inigues) and her beloved late daughter, Barbara. She was a cherished grandmother to Alix (DJ), Jakob, and Tyler, who brought immense pride and happiness to her life.
She is also survived by her loving sister, Mary "Mert" (George) Clemons, along with a close-knit circle of extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Sarah Arnold; her husband, Al; her daughter, Barbara; and her siblings, Avis, Larry, and Walt.
In accordance with Betty's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Al at their shared gravesite.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty’s honor to a charity of the donor's choice.
