Beverly Jean Cooper (SUGA), born on December 31, 1960 in Bremerton, WA to Celeda and Walter Sheppard Cooper. The lord called her home to earn her wings February 19, 2019 and to joined her daughter JoWanna Gooden and her sister Veronica Cooper.
Beverly grew up in the Seattle area loving family, friends, music and dancing. She was raised in the Madrona area where she was known to organize the neighborhood kickball games, trips to the beach and push her candy exchange business with family and neighborhood friends. She was known as “Tweety Bird” when she was a member of the Garfield High School dance squad called the “Puppettes”. Beverly was known to be very fashion conscious with her colorful hairstyles and trendy clothes. Beverly was a social butterfly and was loved by everyone that came in contact with her. You knew when Beverly was entering the room! She was the life of the party with her wicked since of humor, no tolerance for nonsense, and her giving heart. If you knew Beverly, you knew, the love she had for her children, her grand babies and her dogs. They were her pride and joy. If she was not taking care of her grandchildren she spent her day socializing and hanging out with her support group at The Cherry Fellowship Hall.
Surviving family include her mother Celeda; sisters Crystal, Montine; brothers Walter, Anthony; daughter La Quanna; sons LaTrez and Jamel Cooper; Her grandchildren that she loved beyond life Nayonni, JaOna, Dionne, JyNelle, Ava, Naysean, Chase, Amari, many nieces and nephews that she loved like her own and her doggy Miracle.
