His spirit continues to soar in the breeze of ultimate freedom. Confident to shoot that game-winning basket, kicking soccer goals from midfield, or stepping into the batter's box to clear the bases, Booth was the purest of athletes. Always with a ball in his hands, he was fun to watch and never showed a hint of bluster. A tacit person, he enjoyed simple pleasures of walking the Westport beach, listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd lyrics, and using his culinary skills to prepare a mean Philly steak sandwich. We have no encyclopedia of Booth's thoughts, motivations or conflicts as he was our quiet one. Though distant, in the end, Booth found his way home. Surviving relatives are: Maureen and Wendy Wineland, Ben, Gabe and Eli Palmer and partner, Pola Royale.
