Charlotte Gunderson

Charlotte (Charlee) Gunderson, passed on March 18th after a steady decline in health starting in the Fall.

She was a much-loved wife, stepmother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt (Auntie Lottie), friend and church member.

Born in September 1952 to parents Elbert and Helen Garrett, in Seattle WA.

After graduating from Lincoln High School in 1970 she attended Peterson Business College before joining Simon Golub & Sons in the accounting department where she worked for 5 years. She also did waitressing in the Lynnwood area before she started her Marine Pipefitting career at Marine Power and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Her final role was that of a nuclear pipefitter where she met her future husband, Steve who preceded her in May of 2023.

Charlee and Steve were married nearly 30 years and made their home in Silverdale where they both enjoyed their passions, which, for Charlee was being a Stampin’ Up demonstrator, amazing card maker and an active member and volunteer for their church, the Champion Centre in Tacoma.

She enjoyed travelling with Steve, and their friends and especially road trips to California to visit family.

Charlee leaves behind her stepdaughter, Annmarie, her grandson, Stephen, 3 great grandchildren, her brothers, Robert and David, and sister, Sharon, as well as 4 nieces and nephews and 4 greats, and her incredible friends.

A celebration of life is being planned for Tuesday, July 21st, from 2-5:30pm at Farrelli’s Pizza, 5104 Grand Loop, Suite A, Ruston, WA. Looking forward to sharing bright moments and memories of her life.
