“It was good to be Clyde.”
These simple words were Clyde’s own, written for his obituary. His family, however, has this to add:
It was good to be Clyde’s family. It was good to be one of his many, many friends.
Clyde, AKA Sneaky, Old School, This Guy, Flyde Colley, Clyde Kadiddlehopper, Clyde the Glyde, or simply Grandpa Clyde — however you knew him, may we all do our best to fulfill his wish of having more fun than not as we honor a life well lived.
Clyde is lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet; his three sons, Connor, Casey, and Max; his daughters-in-law, Leisha and Allison; his six grandchildren, Katelyn, Bridger, Berit, Audrey, Scarlett, and Monte; and his sister, Annie.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia “Ginny” Folley and Clyde “C.H.” Folley, and his brother, Gary.
A memorial for Clyde will be held at Big Sky Chapel in Big Sky, Montana, on July 2nd at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you raise a glass, cast a fly, or crush a drive and have a good laugh, as Clyde did until the very end.
Please share memories, photos & condolences on the guestbook, located below.
