Danny Clair Park

1955 — 2019

Seattle

On Nov 29, 2019, our family unexpectedly lost our beloved Danny. Danny was born on Oct 28, 1955 in Knox, IN to proud parents, Donald and Shirley Park. From an early age, Danny developed a special connection with the outdoors. Growing up, Danny spent cherished summer vacations at the family cabin in West Virginia. He loved fishing the Greenbrier River, catching crawdads, and exploring the Appalachian Mountains with his younger brother, Larry. After high school, Danny studied art and architecture at Purdue University, honing his talent and skills in furniture making, pencil sketching, and watercolor. He also played guitar and had a deep love and appreciation for music. Danny became a welder by trade, but his true passion would always be communing with nature. It was where he felt the most at peace. Danny traveled extensively out west, visiting many of our national parks with his constant companion and best friend: His Beagle dog, Barney. Loving the mountain terrain especially, he spent many years in Colorado before relocating to Seattle, WA.

Danny was a beautiful soul and a free spirit. He was a generous and loving person, had a fantastic sense of humor, and was always able to make anyone smile. Danny became a Christian at the age of 17 and kept the love of Jesus in his heart his entire life. Danny was loved very much by his family and will be missed dearly.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away." -Revelation 21:4
