Douglas K. Roush

Doug was born Dec 18, 1964, in Kimball, Nebraska. His parents were Elsie (Holloway) and Dwight Roush. Doug had 2 sisters, Linda and Brenda and 3 brothers Dwight Jr, Marc and Mike. Doug is survived by his wife Melanie (Mel) and his 2 children, Cameron and Chantelle. Doug graduated from Mt Rainier HS in 1983. He was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines - Tukwila area.

Doug worked as a career industrial painter for Coatings Unlimited of Kent. He had a lifelong love of muscle cars (Chevys) and enjoyed owning and working on them. He had a passion for NASCAR and his hero Dale Earnhardt, Seattle sports, and grunge rock music.

Doug loved history and traveling. He also enjoyed socializing with Mel and all his friends and participating in the community events of Burien. He lived life to the fullest.

Doug found peace on April 3, 2022, at home after having lived with cancer. He was fun loving and always a joy to be around. He had a deep love for all his family and friends. Doug will be greatly missed by his wife, brothers, cousins, other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
