Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Poussier

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Poussier, age 90, on February 28, 2026. Born in Dickinson, North Dakota, the second of four siblings, Betty moved to Seattle as a young girl—the city she would call home for the rest of her days.

Betty's life was defined by her nurturing spirit. Whether raising her own five children, caring for her grandchildren or operating her neighborhood daycare, she spent her years ensuring every child in her care felt safe and loved.

Her 61-year marriage to her husband, Dale, was a testament to enduring love and devotion and served as the unbreakable foundation for the family they built together.

She is survived by Dale; her three children; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. While her final years were challenged by dementia, her family chooses to remember her for the decades of caring warmth and love she gave so freely.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Burien, WA.
