Elizabeth Bader Payne - 1929 to 2020

She began life simply enough, being raised in Ogden, UT amongst a loving and caring family. She held on to those sentiments, and made them her own. Our mom was a person who cherished relationships and nurtured the positive aspects of everyone she met. She truly cared about family and to this day and forevermore, we will always feel that loving energy.

She spent her life with her husband of 71 years, raising four children and enjoying life to the fullest. Living in not only Utah, but also Chicago, San Francisco, along with extended time in California, Montana and finally ending up in Washington State. She travelled extensively throughout the United States and the world, and was an avid skier all the way into her late 70’s. Our mom gave generously of her time as a volunteer to countless organizations wherever she was. She was a phenomenal cook and loved to share her meals, which she did right up to the end.

We loved our mom, as so many people did. We will miss her dearly, but will cherish the memories, as one who loved her said, of a most loving, kind, generous and gracious person . . . you have been a wonderful gift in my life.

Please share memories of Elizabeth and condolences with her family on the Tribute Page located above.
