Frank Siebrecht

1941 — 2026

Frank Siebrecht, a man who epitomized integrity and grit and had a heart of gold, passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2026 due to complications related to Parkinson’s Disease. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, unwavering positivity, and devoted love for his family.

Born on February 8th, 1941, in Aberdeen, Washington, Frank grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota. His youth was defined by good friends, fast cars, and the enduring love of his life, Judy Opdahl, whom he married in 1961 and cherished deeply throughout their 64 years of marriage.

Frank was a dedicated professional and a natural marketer with a special penchant for cutting through fluff and calling out the "BS." We’ll never forget the sign he had on his desk that read: “Assume nothing: it will only make an A** out of U and Me!” After two years in the Army and earning his MBA, his career began at Coca Cola Foods in Houston, TX. He then worked at advertising agencies in Cedar Rapids, IA, and Brookfield, WI. Frank also satisfied his entrepreneurial spirit as the CEO of Western Pipe and Supply in Houston and as the Founder & CEO of Advertising Specialties, also in Houston. He was known for his caring mentorship, commitment as a colleague, and unwavering dedication to his client's needs. He worked hard, never complained, and maintained an infectious positive outlook, encapsulated by his classic response when asked how he was doing: "Just short of glory!"

After a distinguished career, Frank embraced and thrived in retirement. He became a social butterfly, enjoying the snowbird life between Wisconsin and Florida, and was always ready for a game of Bridge. His greatest joy in these later years was his role as a devoted grandpa to his four grandchildren. He shared memorable moments with them, from giving very (!) early driving lessons in his red Miata to Grant, to marveling at the various whims and passions of Isabel, Avery, and Vivian including dolls, dances, broadway shows, sports, and endless shopping adventures.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Judy in Seattle; his brother, Richard Kiefer in Rapid City; his son Eric and daughter in law Joanne in Rosenberg, TX; his son Karl and daughter-in-law Stacie in Seattle; his grandson Grant along with his wife Madison and Frank’s great-grandson Waylon in Richmond, TX; and three granddaughters Isabel in New York City, Avery in Los Angeles, and Vivian in Durham, NC.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at Murano Senior Living, 620 Terry Ave, Seattle, WA on Friday, April 17th 2026 at 1:30pm, and a memorial service in the Black Hills of South Dakota this summer.

In lieu of flowers, Frank would appreciate donations made to the Milwaukee chapter of SCORE, where he dedicated his time as a devoted mentor, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
