Gertrude Delores Bottorff

Gertrude (Engh) BOTTORFF- Longtime Burien area resident, Gertrude Bottorff, 81, died peacefully November 11, 2014 at the home of her daughter. Gertrude worked as a waitress, seamstress and cocktail server. She spent most of her career providing joy to her customers at Vince’s Italian Restaurant in Burien. She enjoyed sewing, painting, crafting and cooking for her family and friends.
Predeceased by her sister, Peggy, and brother, Dick, Gertrude leaves behind her special friend, Dan Marino; daughter, Delores Donaglia; sons, Ronald Donaglia and Vincent Donaglia (partner Kim Reed); brothers, LeRoy and Norman Engh; grandchildren, Jami Moeller, Angela Yarbrough, Brian Donaglia, Steven Donaglia, Jason Donaglia, Brandon Reed and Nicole Cook; and many great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014, 3pm, at the New Walk Christian Church, 18635 8th Ave. S., Des Moines. Emmick Family Funeral Services assisted with arrangements.
