Born Dec. 5, 1935 in Utrecht, Netherlands and passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 3, 2020. Hendrika married William in 1957 and they had 2 children, Hanny and Michael. They immigrated to the United States in 1960. First living in Youngstown, Ohio for 1 year then moving to Seattle where she lived in the same house for 59 years. She loved her home. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and entertaining friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and daughter Hanny. Hendrika is survived by her son, Michael (Lori), grandsons, John (Ashlee), Jason (Kylie) and David. Also 4 great grandchildren, Colton, Caleb, Jaxon and Ariana. She was so proud to be "Oma" to all of them.
Hendrika will be greatly missed by all. We know she is reunited with her husband and daughter. A special thanks to Cathy with Evergreen Hospice. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
