Janet M. Nakano

Janet M. Nakano, age 81,  passed away quietly on Saturday, February 24, after a long battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.  She spent her life involved in family and community.  Actively working with the Boy Scouts in the Seattle Thunderbird District.  She was den mother; and committee chair for several different cub packs in the district.  She was the recepiant of the Silver Beaver Award; District Award of Merit; Hideo Hoshide Honor Award; and the Thomas Kubota Honor Award.  She was also an active bowler and crafter.

Janet is survived by her dog Josie, Daughter - Shirley Nakano, Son - Roy Nakano; Grandsons – Ricky Pieczynski, Chris Nakano; and Great-Grandson CJ Nakano.
