Louise Lingenbrink

Louise Lingenbrink passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024, in West Seattle at the age of 94.

Louise attended Queen Anne High and Poulsbo High, attended Lakewood Community College and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a double major in English and Art History.

Louise met the love of her life, Frank, in Seattle in 1953. They married in 1954 and had their first child in 1955.

Louise and Frank were blessed with and were exceptionally proud of their children and grandchildren, encouraging them to work hard and study hard to accomplish their goals.

A loving wife and a very involved mother, Louise was always engaged in activities with her children. Whether she was serving as a Den Mother for Cub Scouts, presiding over the PTA, or organizing gatherings, she generously gave the gift of time to her.

Entertaining friends, traveling the world, and dancing whenever she had the chance kept Louise young at heart. As benefactors and season ticket holders for Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle Symphony Orchestra and Seattle Opera, music always surrounded Louise and Frank.

Louise loved fashion, decorating and music. She also liked See’s chocolates, anything that sparkled and everything pink. Her love of chocolates follows her with See’s chocolates going with her to her resting spot at Mount Pleasant.

Her smile will be missed by all who met her.
