Marion was born & raised on Seattle's Capitol Hill to Joseph Smith and Antoinette Helen Pericin.

Baptised at St. James Cathedral.

Marion loved his family and during his life had several jobs including a bouncer, juvenile truancy officer and later in life was an in home caregiver.

Marion enjoyed playing Super Nintendo and Nintendo video games.

Marion will be buried along side his parents and sister, Gertrude Smith, in the family plot at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline, Washington.
