Paul RANDECKER

October 5, 1957 - July 6, 2024

Paul was born on October 5th, 1957, to Ralph and Joanne Randecker of West Seattle. He had three siblings, Beverly (Tony Drazic), Arlene (Kent Carpenter), and Robert (Gloria).

He graduated from West Seattle High School and Seattle Central Community College with Associates Degrees in Computer Programming and Computer Operations. He went on to work as a programmer and analyst in the Seattle area for a variety of companies, including Lockheed Martin, Nordstrom, and Providence.

The majority of his career was spent working for Boeing Military IT. In 1987, he married the love of his life, Teresa Randecker (deceased), and had two wonderful sons of whom he was extremely proud, Richard (Jaclynn) and Marc. Both of his sons followed in their dad’s footsteps and have made careers in the engineering and computer science field as well.

He was a dedicated fan of the TV show Big Bang Theory and much of the time during the holidays you could find him enjoying Hallmark movies. He loved barbecuing flank steak for special occasions celebrating his loved ones and always made eggs and bacon for his family on Sundays.

Some of his favorite things to enjoy was Dr. Pepper and the occasion Mac & Jack’s. One of his favorite past times was his daily walks around his neighborhood, when he was able to keep an eye on things and see the neighborhood grow and change. Paul passed away on July 6th, 2024, in Seattle, surrounded by his family.

He lived his whole life in West Seattle and loved his community. He will be tremendously missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on August 24th, 2024, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in West Seattle (6701 30th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98126).
