On June 19th 2023 Rosalie was escorted to Heaven by a chorus of angels.

Rosalie was born May 15th 1934 in Puyallup Washington to Cora and Amen Hanson.  One of seven daughters.

After a difficult upbringing Rosalie married her first husband Hank Gee and had 3 boys, George, Jim and John. After divorcing, She met and married Thomas Meehan and she had 3 more children, Patrick, Ann and Sharon. They raised their children in Rainier Valley. After her second divorce, Rosalie had two other long term loving relationships, Robert Fulmer and Joseph Kraus

To understand her children and life surprises, she was taught astrology by Dorothy B Hughes. Rosalie became a professional teacher and consultant in the metaphysical world.

Living on her own in Shoreline, she became the flower lady for the senior housing at Bitterlake Manor. She displayed flowers arrangement and cared for the inside plants.

Rosalie loved flowers, any and all things shiny, cats, crosswords, painting, classical music, and ballroom dancing. Always believed to be dressed in your best.

Rosalie was an independent senior that was able to live alone with the help of her daughter Sharon and grandson Franky. But In 2019, Rosalie broke her hip was unable to live alone anymore and Providence Mount Saint Vincent found room for her in West Seattle near her daughter.

Would like to thank Providence Hospice team and some of the caregivers at the Mount who went the extra mile. Covid has been very diffcult and isolating for seniors, go visit and hug a loved one. Rosalie was a mother of 6, grandma of 11 and a great grandma to 7 children.

Don't walk in front of me

I may not follow

Don't walk behind me

I may not lead

Just walk beside me

and be my friend
