Rosemary Jane Terry passed away June 5, 2025 at Harborview Medical Center due to complications after 43 years on kidney dialysis. Rosemary Jane “Ulibarri” Terry was born Sept 7, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Lee Ulibarri and Mary Dimas, they later moved to Seattle, Washington where she was raised until 19 years age.
Rosemary married Darrell Lee Terry in 1967 and moved to Oregon, together they had three children Victor Lee, Michael Lee, and Lisa Jane. She found herself running small businesses in Portland, Oregon, “Mr. Donut Shops” and soon sold and moved to Medford Oregon where they opened up a restaurant in Gold Hill on the Rouge River tourist attraction and would ride the white-water river rafting and spent many summers with innertubes riding the waves and swinging off ropes into the water. This where she was able to teach the children how to swim. She loved her horses on the farm where she rode them along with her children. Rosemary was a Christian woman who believed in faith and was a part of Applegate Christian Church. Illness struck her at an early age with kidney disease at the age of 32. Rosemary lived a life not taking it for granted and looked for adventures where she could find that would take her to the outdoors or traveling across all 50 states being a care giver for Mr. Flyn for his wife at different times after Darrell’s passing in 1977 to support her children. She loved living life and bringing family together and cherished her time with all family members. She loved camping, fishing, rafting, planting, flying kites, skiing through the mountain tops, she loved animals. She enjoyed giving to others and saw the blessings of friendship that came from caring for others. The simple things in life where she would find her happiness. She enjoyed collecting antique tea cups and saucers, playing cards or eating some really good cake. She was your best friend who was always positive no matter the conditions in life. She will be truly missed and carried within our hearts as the loving and giving person.
