Shirley Ann Richter

Shirley Ann Richter 1937-2021

Shirley was born on October 10, 1937. She passed away  at her home on December 23, 2021. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Richter, her son David Peterson and her brother,

Edward Altmayer.

Shirley is survived by her children, Douglas Peterson, Kenneth Peterson, Tammy Scott (Bob), Gary Peterson (Carol), Karen Rodal (Tracy), and Carrie Morrison (Brad). She was the grandmother to 17 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

Shirley is also survived by her brother Donald Altmayer, and sister in law, Raeleen.

Shirley was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her children/grandchildren, and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her roll as Nana!

Summers were always a pool get together at Nana's house. Having the grandkids over to swim, always put a smile on her face.

Family and friends are invited to attend Shirley's celebration of life on Saturday, March 5, 2022 (1:00-3:00) at the Tukwila Community Center. This is located at 12424 42nd Ave So. Tukwila, WA  98168

Please note that the Tukwila Community Center requires everyone to show proof of vaccination, or a negative covid test taken within 3 days. Home tests are not accepted.
