Stephan “Steve” Michael Walior, 70 years old, of Seattle, WA, passed away on 11/11/2022 from heart failure.
He was preceded in death by James and Myrna Walior, and survived by his son Chad Walior, daughter Heather Walior, sister Janet Ludington, brother Michael Walior and grandchildren, Jordan Tugwell, Bella Tugwell, Kellen Tugwell, Gabriella Walior, Elijah Walior and Luca Walior.
Steve spent 6 years in the Army National Guard. Those that knew him well as “Wally” know he was the life of the party as he loved to make people laugh. Music was one of his favorite past times. The days we choose to remember are happy, when we were camping, learning to fish and being around friends and family.
He struggled with addiction, which ultimately consumed him. His family is at peace knowing he is no longer suffering. There will be no formal funeral and his ashes will be released along the Teanaway River where he had more happier times.
If you know someone who suffers from addiction, it is hard. You are not alone.
“Addiction is a special kind of hell. It takes the soul of the addict and breaks the hearts of everyone who loves them.”
“Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends of being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take the step.” – Naeem Callaway
