Celebrating the Life of Sydney Marino

Sydney Leigh Marino passed peacefully at home on September 23, 2024. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, caring sister, and a dear friend to many.

Sydney was born April 15, 1984 in Moses Lake, Washington to Jon and Tiena Anderson. She grew up in Moses Lake, graduating from Moses Lake High School in 2002, attended Gonzaga University earning her economics degree in 2006. She was initially employed by an accounting firm after college, yet over the years and multi companies/roles, found her niche as an event coordinator for Facebook/Meta.

Sydney met the love of her life, Tony Marino, in October of 2007, and was married July 24, 2010. Together, they embraced every moment, creating a life filled with love, laughter, and joy. Sydney was an active and dedicated member of the community, always involved in various activities and events. She had a deep love for travel and cherished every opportunity to explore new places. Whether it was embarking on exciting adventures or simply enjoying time with friends and family, Sydney seized life fully and created lasting memories with those she loved. She was also an avid sports fan, passionately supporting her teams. Whether cheering loudly from the stands or enthusiastically from the couch, her passion was undeniable. Her greatest joy came with the birth of her daughter Madilyn and son Wesley. Together they were a loving, fun-filled family. She will always be remembered for a smile that could light up a room, her wit, and joie de vivre.

Sydney is survived by her husband Tony; children Madilyn and Wesley; mother Tiena Anderson; brother Patrick Anderson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sydney Marino will be held at Hope Lutheran Church on October 25, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Swedish Cancer Institute, in memory of Sydney.
