Terrence John Cosgrove

Terrence (Terry) John Cosgrove, age 85, passed away July 30, 2026, in Seattle, Washington. One of nine siblings, he was born to Edward and Margaret Cosgrove on October 6, 1940, in Lackawanna, New York.

Terry dedicated his career to expanding and developing MB Companies, a leading manufacturer of airport runway maintenance and pavement striping equipment, among other products. During his time as owner, Terry grew MB’s business while prioritizing customer relationships and high-quality products. He enjoyed connection, conversation, and sitting down for a drink or a meal. Like the fine wine he so enjoyed, he only improved with age. 

While he was immensely proud of his business success, Terry’s greatest joys were the five children he shared with Patricia Cosgrove (nee Biskup): Colleen, TJ (Darcy), Carolyn (Bruce), Tim (Elise), and Mary Pat (Jake). Additionally, Terry is survived by ten grandchildren: Ted (Annabelle), Maggie, Caitlyn, Aliza, Fidelia, Kaya, Will, Hazel, Nora, and Luci. Throughout his life, Terry encouraged his family to be of service, supporting their endeavors and educational pursuits.
