Thelma Allen - A life well lived

March 12, 1927 – August 9, 2021

From Thelma’s family:  Our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Thelma Allen, begrudgingly succumbed to cancer at the age of 94 with strength, dignity and pride.  Her final breath was taken on the morning of August 9th, 2021.  She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with her husband, Edgar Allen (1922-2008), at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.

Her vitality, humor, courage, determination and love lives on in all of us but her presence in our lives is something we will always miss.

The family would like to thank the staff at Judson Park for their care and compassion over the past 13 years of her residency, especially during her final arduous few months.

Please join us for a service in memory of a beautiful lady on September 18th, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.

Service to be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 19834 8th Ave So., Des Moines, WA 98148

There will be an outdoor Cookie Reception in the courtyard after the service.

Current* Covid Protocol:  All persons 5 years and older are required to wear a face covering indoors.  All attending guests will be required to have been vaccinated and will need to sign in.  For those who cannot attend, a live feed will be streamed, link to be provided later.
