Beverly Huber Obituary

Beverly Ann Huber went home to be with her Lord on Friday March 18th, 2022 while at home surrounded by loved ones.

Beverly Ann Huber was born April 9th 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Harold and Martha Walberg. When she was 27 she moved to Santa Rosa, California where she worked as an Administrative Assistant in the medical field. In 1975 she moved to Washington State where she met the love of her life Carl Huber and they were married in 1978.

Beverly loved people especially children. She was a great cook and loved to entertain. She loved to serve others and she was an excellent gift giver, always knew the right thing to say, and never missed a special date. Beverly was vibrant and full of life. Beverly was an encourager and was loved by all. She always had a word that would inspire others.  Her passion was creating, crocheting,  needlepoint, counted cross-stitch, rosemaling and many other crafts.

Beverly and Carl wintered in Arizona, she loved the warmth and beauty of Arizona and the many special friends she had there. While back home they enjoyed their time on Puget Sound on their boat.

Beverly was a long time member of Glendale Evangelical Lutheran Church where she served in Vacation Bible School, teaching crafts, and many other areas as needed. Carl and Beverly hosted a Bible study in their home for many years.

Beverly loved attending the sporting events of her children and grand children, she was their greatest cheerleader. She loved spending time with her grand children and loved being a Grandma.

Beverly loved celebrating life. She always made birthdays and holidays special. She would put in an extra ordinary effort into making each one of these occasions a time to remember. These occasions were filled with love, laughter, good food, and gifts.

Beverly had a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Carl cared for her by himself for several years until it was just too much. He brought in some wonderful care givers. Over the years she has had many loving, kind, compassionate care givers, Ching, Ping, Angelo, Mila, Elsa, Julie, Mary, Salome, Carmelita and others.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Martha, her husband, Carl, and her Brother, Harold. She is survived by her children, Linda Richards (Partner Jeff Chambers), and Cindy Osborn (Husband Larry), and her step-children Chuck Huber (Wife Sheryl) and Alyson Martin (Husband Allen) as well as 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was like a mother to many.  She will be greatly missed.
