Funeral services for Lorne C. Howden, 80, former co-owner of the Georgetown Funeral Home, will be tomorrow with burial in Forest Lawn. Mr. Howden died Wednesday. A native of Ontario, Mr. Howden came here after World War I.
He became part owner of the funeral home, which was founded in 1912 by his wife's father, C. A. Sprinkle. Mr. Howden also was a partner in the Howden-Kennedy Funeral Home with his son-in-law, Richard Kennedy.
Mr. Howden was past president of the South District Lions Club and the King County and Washington State Funeral Directors Associations. He was a life member of the Eagles and a member of the National Funeral Directors Assocation and the Downtown YMCA.
Surviving are his wife, Callie; a daughter, Mrs. Arlene Kennedy, Seattle and a brother, Stanley Howden, The Dalles, OR.
