Bob was born in Spokane, Washington to Robert H. Kluckhohn and Anne Elizabeth (Jones) Kluckhohn in 1944. He served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1966-1968. On February 21st, 1971, he married Prudence Cramp at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Seattle, WA. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1974. He and Prudence have two children, Elizabeth Anne Kluckhohn and Benjamin William Louis Kluckhohn MacGregor, and one grandchild, Liam Robert MacGregor.

Bob worked for the Washington State Patrol as a dispatcher for 30 years in the Seattle, Everett, and Vancouver, Washington offices. He retired in 2004 and he and Prudence settled back in Seattle, staying active at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and American Legion Post 40 Ballard. He enjoyed volunteering with the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society and never missed a season. He loved anything to do with steam trains, and was a busy virtual model railroader. He loved reading (especially history and science fiction), puzzles, was a big war game buff back in the day, and was a master punster.

He was much loved and will be much missed. Services will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Seattle.  Bob always believed that everyone should do their part to make the world better. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in his name.
