Teodora Larsen Obituary

Beloved wife and mother, Teodora  (Dory) Alegria Larsen went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on August 3rd following a tragic auto accident.

Dory was born on July 17th, 1958 in Baroy Lanao del Norte, on Mindanao, Philippines.  She attended Liceo de Cagayan in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao,  where she received a Bachelor degree in accounting and commerce. In 1988 she moved to Seattle, Washington and was employed at Radar Electric where she sold electronics to the Boeing Company. During this time she met her future husband, William S. Larsen.  After 9/11 Dory wanted to make a difference and went to work for the Transportation Security Administration where she stayed for nearly 15 years before working for the Port of Seattle in transportation security.

She loved traveling and photography with a passion, especially traveling to Iceland, Norway, Alaska and Canada where she’d photograph the Northern lights.

Dory is survived by her husband William (Bill) Larsen, her sons Max and Jack Larsen, her sisters, Flori Dooley, Jessica Balaoro and brothers Roger and Greg Macasarte.

Dory was a devout Catholic and an active parishioner at Holy Family Church in White Center.  There will be a mass and memorial for her at Holy Family on Friday, September 23 at 11:00am.
